Consortium Research Awards
The Consortium provides funding for intramural projects related to the societal implications of problems in health, environment, and the life sciences. Since 2000, we have awarded more than $1 million to University of Minnesota faculty and students in the following categories: - UMN graduate and professional students are provided a stipend for research and writing and funding for research supplies, or funding for a program or colloquia;
- Individual UMN faculty members are funded for faculty research, projects, or curricular innovations;
- Programs/Departments/Centers are funded for department, program, or center colloquia;
- Consortium member centers and graduate or professional programs or departments participating in the Joint Degree Program in Law, Health & the Life Sciences are funded for research, projects, or colloquia.
